This is a very nice and unique poem about The Creation
The Creation by James Weldon Johnson
And God stepped out on space,
And he looked around and said:
I'm lonely--

And far as the eye of God could see
Darkness covered everything,

Then God smiled,

i went out with my friends yesterday!!!
we were:

anyway, we met at somerset mrt and xh + sharon was late. they arrived at 12.30 and we had already waited for 5 or 6 trains before they came. we bought tickets from cathay orchard and we watched Les Choristes(again!!) and i got a free Les Choristes notebook!!!! ahh!! (thanx for letting me have it!) sharon wanted the back of the notebook(cos there was a picture of orlando bloom) but i refused. haha..
after buying tickets, we went for lunch at pastamania.ellen and i had a baked pasta with ham and capsicum in it (totally cheesy!!) and eileen brought chocolates made by her aunt for us.ooh.. i had a piece of green tea flavoured bitter chocolate, was nice. i tried to eat it daintily but the 5 of them were staring at me so i put the other half into my mouth quickly.. :P
then we went to this shop and took neoprints!! we took the first time and we couldn't select fast enough so we could only pick 3 instead of 6. but it was soo nice then we decided take neoprints all over again! this time we had special poses.. quite amusing really.. there was the kick leg, point finger, sweetie pie and "dao" people poses..haha.the one where we were supposed to glare at each other, i couldn't help smiling so i looked like i was smirking!!
after that we went to watch the movie at 2.10!it was soooo nice!!!
even ellen liked the music.

i went to the movies with my dad today!! we watched les choristes.. (my dada used to be in the church choir) anyway, it was soo nice!! i have nothing bad to say about it!!
it's about this musician called Clément Mathieu who found a job as a supervisor in a school for problem kids, its called Le Fond de L’etang. (literally “the bottom of the pond”) he taught this group of boys how to sing and changed their lives.my favourite part was when Mathieu was fired and he had to leave, the boys weren't allowed to say a formal goodbye so they wrote messages, folded them into aeroplanes and threw them out of the window and sang a song. then just when he was about to board the bus to leave, this little boy called Pépinot, whose parents died in the war,(he did not know this but the teachers had decided to hide this fact from him so he would always waited at the gate on Saturdays for his father to pick him, but his father never did)came running out with his teddybear and his little sack of things, asking Mathieu to take him along. at first he refused and you could see the little boy standing on the little dirt track looking as if he was about to burst into tears, then the bus stopped and the teacher came out smiling at him and they left together.
it was very touching..couldn't help tearing at that part of the movie.

sheesh.. my tummy's a little queasy but i have yet to identify the cause..anyway i have nothing interesting to write today.
oh yeah.. from the last time i heard on the radio, there have been 394 casualties.. sad huh.. i simply don't understand what those rebels have against school kids. i think they have gone too far this time..
anyway, its the sept hols but it doesn't feel like it. oh boy.. everybody is in shanghai. wish i was there too. they'll learn how to make jiao zi!! oh i love jiao zi! the best place to eat them is this restaurant in katong set up by this china man who used to be a basketball player.
ok.. i know it's kinda irrelevant, but i think that IKEA has very nice and cosy furniture.. if i ever get my own house, i will get all the furnishing from IKEA.

ok i have decided to give myself a hug everyday.. cos nobody gives me hugs...
anyway, i went shopping today after tuition ( ok.. u don't want to know what i bought so i shall skip that) and i didn't get anything for mr ng <- that's my amaths tuition teacher.. he's a bit bian tai but the boys are even worse so i shan't comment. so i was feeling guilty and i wanted to get him a tie ( u know those odd kind with big red polka dots or mickey mouse kind) or something on wed but nobody wanted to share the gift so i can't decide if i should get him anything (anyway he gets so many gifts so it doesn't matter) and i still can;t decide.
sigh.. i've got chi and chem tuition and church tomorrow and my aunt is returning from America tomorrow noon. so .. it's yet another busy day!! bye!
gotta go do tuition hw!

there is an evil company called LGM (Leisure Group Marketing). they sell something called timeshares and cheat people of their money!! this company is located in Takashimaya level 14 and they are very very dangerous. this is because they often tell u that u have won this luckydraw then they will ask u to collect your price at their office. but when u get there, they will tell u that u can only get your holiday package if u buy timeshares from them. the worst thing is that the salesmen they employ are actually very convincing.
recently,my dada got a call from them to pick up so called "vouchers for 5 star hotels in Malaysia" but hey! u can only collect it on tue and sat..kinda weird isn't it? and it gets kinda fishy when they keep calling u to remind u about your prize.. i mean which company doesn't want to save money...hello..apparently, they seem very eager (too eager i think) to give u the prize.. and guess what? there IS a company called the Leisure Group who manages the Holiday Inn chain of hotels.. but its not the same!!! so don't fall for their shameless scam!
